ONION - MUSHROOM SAUCE 
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
3/4 c. beef-flavor broth
2 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms (8 oz.)
1/4 tsp. thyme (optional)
2 tsp. flour & 1/2 tsp. salt mixed with 2 tbsp. water

In medium skillet bring to boil onion and broth. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and thyme. Cover and cook 5 minutes or until mushrooms are almost tender. Push vegetable to side of pan; stir flour mixture into liquid. Cook and stir until sauce thickened. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
