BRIAN'S DAD'S CHILI 
1 1/2-2 lb. ground beef
1 (28 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 (40 oz.) can kidney beans
4 lg. onions
2 lg. green peppers
6-10 jalapeno peppers
6 garlic toes
Spices:
Chili powder
Basil
Oregano
Black pepper
Generous portions of each (above)
Optional: Thyme, just a bit (1/2 tsp.)

Chop onions, peppers and garlic; fry until soft in a little oil; don't brown vegetables. Fry meat until it's no longer red; drain grease. Don't brown meat.

Combine all ingredients, cover, cook slowly on stove 2 hours or cook in crock pot 4 hours. Let sit overnight or until it cools down. Reheat and eat.
