TACO SALAD 
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 can Ro-Tel chilies and tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. head lettuce
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. chopped green onion
2 fresh tomatoes, cubed
1 sliced avocado
1/2 sm. bag plain corn chips

Brown hamburger and drain off fat. Then add Ro-Tel tomatoes and chili powder. Simmer over very low heat for 20 minutes. Chop up lettuce and put in bowl. Mix in cheese, onions, fresh tomatoes, avocado, salt and pepper. Sprinkle chips and meat mixture over salad mixture. Serve immediately while meat mixture is hot. Serves six or more.
