3/4 c. sugar 1 c. dates 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. crushed corn flakes 1 c. Rice Krispies 14 oz. pkg. coconut In heavy skillet, mix sugar, chopped dates, well-beaten eggs, and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture pulls away from sides of pan, about 5 to 10 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes. Add vanilla and nuts. Carefully add rice cereal and corn flakes. Wet hands in cold water and form balls about the size of walnuts. Roll in coconut. |
