CHILI SAUCE (OLD-TIME) 
36 ripe tomatoes
6 lg. green peppers
4 lg. onions
1 bunch celery
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. clove
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. vinegar

Simmer for 1 hour (or longer) until thick. Good hot or cold over any dinner meat, or potatoes, rice or noodles.
