1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cooking oil

Combine flour, salt and cream of tartar. Add water and cooking oil. Mix in heavy pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture pulls away from pan. Stir in desired food coloring to color. Store in airtight container.
