BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
1 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. chicken broth
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. chopped broccoli, cooked
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. pkg. fine egg noodles
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
6 c. milk
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
Pepper to taste

Heat butter and saute onions. Add chicken broth and bouillon cubes. Add noodles and salt. Cook uncovered 3 minutes and stir in broccoli and garlic powder. Cook three minutes. Add milk, cheese and pepper stirring constantly until cheese melts. Do not boil. Reheat in double boiler. 4 quarts.
