SHORTCUT CHOW MEIN 
3 pkg. Ramen type noodles (set aside the seasoning packets that come in each package)
1/2 lb. ground beef or thinly sliced lean beef or thinly sliced pork or chicken cut into 2 inch strips
1 sm. onion, sliced
1 c. diagonally sliced celery
1 c. diagonally sliced carrots
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. broccoli, cut about 2 inches
1 c. bean sprouts (optional)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
