PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE | |
Use a heavy 2 to 4 quart size cooker. A small pressure cooker is good. 3 c. sugar 1 stick Parkay or 1/4 lb. butter 1 sm. can evaporated milk, Pet or Carnation 1 jar marshmallow creme 1 heaping tbsp. peanut butter Melt butter. Add milk and sugar; stir well. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, reduce heat somewhat to prevent scorching. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring all the while. Remove from heat and add marshmallow creme. Stir to blend. Add peanut butter, stir well. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. When cool, cut into squares or break in pieces. Makes 3 pounds. I use Pam spray in pan. |
