SAUSAGE BEAN CHOWDER | |
2 pkg. sausage (Jimmy Dean mild or hot) 2 (16 oz.) cans pinto beans 1 lb., 13 oz. can tomatoes 1 qt. water 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 bay leaves 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 c. diced potatoes 1 pkg. frozen corn Brown sausage and drain well. Combine all ingredients in pot. Simmer 1 hour. Good with cornbread or flour tortillas and butter. Makes about 20 servings. |
