SLICED BAKED POTATOES 
4 med. baking potatoes
1 tsp. salt
2-3 tbsp. melted butter
2-3 tbsp. chopped fresh herbs or 2-3 tsp. dried herbs
4 tbsp. Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Peel potatoes if skin is tough, otherwise, scrub and rinse. Cut potatoes into thin slices but not all the way through. Use handle of wooden spoon to prevent going through. Put potatoes in baking dish and fan slightly. Sprinkle with salt, butter and herbs. Bake at 450 degrees for 50 minutes.

Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and potatoes are soft.

Potatoes can be microwave. Directions are the same to prepare, except add salt last. Put in microwave pan. Microwave on high 10 minutes, re-arrange after 5. Rest 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave on high 4-6 minutes until cheese is melted and potatoes are soft. Sprinkle with salt.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
