STRUDEL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 eggs
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 can pie filling, any kind

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, salt and vanilla and mix well. Add flour. Mix and spread 2/3 dough in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread pie filling. Then drop remaining dough over top of pie filling. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
