EASY CHEESE BISCUITS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
