7-LAYER SALAD 
1/2-1/4 c. each chopped celery, green pepper, Spanish onion
1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked & drained
1 pt. salad dressing
2 tsp. sugar (sprinkle over dressing)
4-6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese to cover top
8-12 strips crisp crumbled bacon over cheese

Fill 9"x13" cake pan half full of shredded head lettuce. Slice it as you would cabbage to make it fluffy. Add the ingredients in order. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours. (I have served the salad before the 8 hours when needed.)
