DROPPED BISCUITS 
1 c. self-rising flour
3 scant tbsp. Crisco
1/2 c. buttermilk

In medium size bowl, put flour and Crisco. Cut the shortening until very fine. Mix well with buttermilk. Drop by large spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet until biscuits are brown. Oven should be preheated to 500 degrees.
