PEACH COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3 c. sliced fresh peaches

Heat oven to 375°F. Put butter in baking dish to melt. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add milk all at once. Stir to blend. Spread butter over bottom of pan. Add 1/2 of batter. Arrange peaches over the batter. Pour on the rest of batter.

Bake 45 minutes or until brown. Serve with cream or ice cream.
