STRAWBERRY CONGEALED SALAD 
1 2/3 c. large rod pretzels
3/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 pt. frozen strawberries

Break pretzels; spread evenly in 9 x 13 dish. Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with melted butter. Pour over pretzels.

Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. (Pretzels should taste crunchy.)

Cream the cream cheese with 1 cup sugar. Blend in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel mixture.

Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Allow Jell-O mixture to purely jell (start getting thick) in refrigerator. Pour slightly thickened Jell-O over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until firm.
