MEATBALLS WITH SAUERKRAUT 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can sauerkraut, drained
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 jar chili sauce
1 jar water
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix together beef, crumbs, eggs and soup mix. Shape into balls; put into 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover with drained sauerkraut. Combine remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes; pour over meatballs and sauerkraut. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
