JAN'S WAFFLES 
2 c. flour
2 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, separated
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt, optional
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sour cream or yogurt

Beat egg whites until stiff. Mix egg yolks, flour and remaining ingredients together. Fold in egg whites. Stir to make smooth batter. Makes enough to feed five hungry kids.
