LEMON COOKIE BARS 
3 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, cut into pieces
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 (22 oz.) can lemon flavored filling
3 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut

Combine flour and 1 1/2 cups sugar in medium bowl; cut in butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture evenly in bottom of 10 1/2" x 15 1/2" jelly roll pan; spread lemon filling over crust. Combine remaining ingredients; spread over filling.

Bake at 350 degrees until coconut is golden and topping is bubbly, 45 to 60 minutes. Cool on rack; cut into 2 1/2" squares. Makes 2 dozen.
