1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

In medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until well mixed. Stir in milk until blended.

Stir in flour mixture just until mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to racks to cool. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
