PORK CHOPS DIXIE STYLE 
8 pork chops
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
4 tart apples, cored & sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. hot water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. seedless raisins

Brown chops, sprinkle with salt and sage. Put in baking dish. Top with apple rings and brown sugar. Add flour to fat in skillet and blend. Add water and vinegar. Cook until thick. Add raisins. Pour over chops. Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
