ON TOP ON TOP 
1 (8 1/2 oz.) (or larger) pkg. chocolate wafer type cookies (approximetly 40)
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
2 tbsp. rainbow "jimmies"

Arrange one layer of cookies in an 8x8x2 inch square pan or dish. Break up some cookies to fit into the holes. Spread one-fourth of the Cool Whip over the cookies. Repeat until everything is used up. The top layer should be Cool Whip. Sprinkle with "jimmies". Cover with foil. Chill in refrigerator for at least 6 hours so cookies get soft.

Makes 8 servings.
