FLORENCE'S CHRISTMAS BREAD 
2c. warm water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 cakes yeast
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
8 to 10 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. white raisins
1 c. seedless raisins
1 c. candied or marachino cherries
1 c. mixed candied fruit
3/4 c. chopped nut meats

Combine first six ingredients knead in flour. Let rise until double. Knead, again, add rest of ingredients, mix well. Form into loaves, let rise. Bake at 350 degrees. Time depends on loaf size.
