HOBO BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/4 c. oil
4 c. flour

Put raisins in water, add soda, stir and cover. Let stand overnight. Next day add sugar, eggs and oil and mix well. Add vanilla, salt, and nuts. Add flour, one cup at a time, stirring after each addition. Put in five well-greased small pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
