SPICY STUFFING FOR CHICKEN 
10 to 12 rolled crackers
Salt pork
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt

Chop very fine a piece of salt pork, about 2 inches squares. Add rolled crackers, salt and spices. Mix lightly and add the unbeaten egg. Mix thoroughly and moisten with water. This recipe has been a traditional one for three generations. Increase proportion for turkey.
