Put rice in a strainer and rinse ... for 2 hours to develop flavors. Serve warmed to room temperature, with parsley added as garnish. 6 portions.

Wash one cup wild rice and add to 3 cups ... I have added other chopped vegetables to the above such as 1/2 cup celery, 1/4 cup green peppers.

Mix all and add crab last. This is a good keeper and is good with frozen fruit salad, sweet breads or rolls. Shrimp can be substituted.

Mix all ingredients except vinegar. Toss in vinegar. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook rice according to the directions. Cool. Add the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serves 8.
