HERB BREAD | |
1 loaf unsliced buttercrust bread 1 c. softened butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. savory 1/2 tsp. thyme Dash of pepper Dash of garlic salt Trim crusts off bread. Slice into 2-inch slices. In a small bowl, combine butter and seasonings. Blend well. Spread butter on both sides of each slice and around entire outside surface except bottom. Wrap in foil. Refrigerate overnight. Roll foil down and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 4-6. |
