HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. noodles
6 c. cooked and diced ham
8 c. med. white sauce
1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. chopped parsley
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. bread crumbs
5 to 6 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook noodles minimum amount of time suggested on package and drain. Layer butter casserole with 1/3 of the noodles. Half of the meat, onions, parsley and white sauce to which cheese has been added. Repeat layers except for sauce. Final layer should be noodles covered with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and small dabs of butter. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

WHITE SAUCE:

3 tbsp. white butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

In saucepan, slowly melt butter. Remove from heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk small amount at a time stirring constantly. Return to medium heat and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute. Serves 16. May be reduced as required.
