SHIPWRECK CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
3-4 potatoes
5-6 carrots
1 med. onion
1 or 2 stalks celery
Salt
Pepper
Tomato juice

Slice carrots and raw potatoes. Chop onions and celery. Break ground beef into small chunks. Mix together all ingredients, raw. Cover with tomato juice (about 4 cups or less) and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, then at 375 degrees until vegetables are tender and liquid is fairly well cooked down. Takes at least 2 hours.
