SUGARPLUM BREAD 
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 2/3 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. oil
2 (4 3/4 oz.) jars strained plum baby food
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt in large bowl. Set aside.

Combine eggs, oil and baby food in separate bowl. Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Fold in pecans.

Divide batter evenly between 2 (8 x 4 inch) ungreased loaf pans. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until wood pick inserted in loaf comes out clean. Cool in pan. Makes 2 loaves.

This is a terrific recipe and one I have used during many Christmas seasons. I can only find plums with apples these days...does anyone know of plum only baby food?

Plums w/apples tastes the same as just plums. I don't believe that anyone makes plum only baby food anymore.
