RED DEVIL POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
7 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
1 oz. red food coloring

FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick (soft) butter
3 tbsp. milk

Mix all 4 ingredients together and spread over cooled pound cake.

Grease and flour tube pan. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add flour, salt, milk and food coloring. Mix well. Add vanilla and mix again. Pour into pan and bake at 300 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours.
