DILL PICKLES 
1 clove garlic (per qtsp.)
1 head dill (per qtsp.)
cleaned and soaked cucumbers
1 qt. vinegar
1 qt. water
1/2 c. canning salt
3/4 c. sugar

You will need 4 (1-quart) jars.

Wash and soak cucumbers in pickling lime (follow directions on box). Soak overnight. Wash 3 times until water runs clear. Put cucumbers in jar (you can slice or put in whole, if small). Bring vinegar, water, salt and sugar to a boil. Fill jars with cucumbers, 1 clove garlic, 1 head dill, then add hot liquid over cucumbers. Can in hot water bath 15 minutes.
