1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts (black walnuts)
1/2 c. strawberry jam

Cream butter, add sugar, add egg yolks. Add flour, fold in nuts. Spread half the batter in pan. Spread on jam. Add the rest of the dough. Bake one hour, or until lightly brown. Cool and cut into 1x2 inch bars. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
