BANANA SPLIT PIE 
Graham cracker crust
2 eggs
2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. shortening
Strawberries, crushed
Pineapple tidbits, drained
Bananas, sliced and dipped in lemon juice (this prevents browning)
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Cherries with stems, drained
Chopped nuts
Chocolate chips

Make or buy a graham cracker crust (a chocolate cookie crust can be substitutes). Beat eggs and sugar on high speed for 15 minutes. About half way through mixing, add the vanilla and shortening. Spread into graham cracker crust and chill overnight. Drain strawberries if juicy before spreading on top of filling. Sprinkle on top of filling. Next sprinkle pineapple then add bananas covering the whole pie. On top of this comes the Cool Whip. Garnish with cherries, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips.
