FLUFFY BOILED FROSTING 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan. Boil until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Pour over 3 beaten egg whites and beat on high speed until stiff peaks form. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread.
