CABBAGE PATCH SOUP | |
1 lb. ground beef 4 stalks celery, diced 1 med. onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional) 1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, diced 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) beef broth 1 soup can water 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 1/2 med. head cabbage, cut into sm. pieces 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/8 tsp. pepper Salt to taste 1 tsp. sugar In large saucepan, brown beef, celery and onions. Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat 20 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer about 1 hour. |
