HOMEMADE BREAD 
12 c. flour
3/8 c. (1/2 & 1/4 c.) oil
1/3 c. wheat germ
2 1/4 tbsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
3 c. water
3 c. milk
2 1/4 pkgs. yeast
1 1/2 c. all bran

Dissolve salt and brown sugar in scalded milk. Let milk cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and add to above. Mix in 6 cups flour then add oil, wheat germ, all bran and rest of flour. Knead adding flour so dough isn't sticky. Then leave in warm place and let rise. Place in pans and let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes depending on oven. It's even better texture if you push it down and let it rise again in your big pan.
