DORA LLOYD'S PEAR RELISH 
1 gallon pears, grind up
1/2 gallon onions
3/4 lb. green peppers and red peppers
3/4 c. salt

Let set for 8 hours, then rinse in clear water. Drain then add 1 quart vinegar and 2 cups white sugar. Add 2 tablespoons turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons salt, 2 tablespoons mustard, 2 tablespoons red pepper, 2 tablespoons celery seed and 1 tablespoon black pepper. Boil 5 minutes and seal hot.
