BLACKBERRY CHOCOLATE DROPS 
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. White Lily blackberry muffin mix
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease lightly baking sheets. Mix shortening and brown sugar well. Stir in egg and vanilla; mix well. Add muffin mix, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonful onto sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
