HOT SPICED CRANBERRY APPLE PUNCH 
48 oz. cranberry-apple drink
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
10 cloves, whole
2 cinnamon sticks
Lemon slices (optional)

In a 2 quart saucepan combine all ingredients except lemon slices. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Strain. Into each mug place a lemon slice, fill with hot punch. If desired serve with a cinnamon stick.

Note: I make it ahead and store in refrigerator. A cup at a time can be heated in microwave.

Makes 6 (8 ounce) servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
