MACARONI AND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 jar (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (4 oz.) drained mushrooms
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 lb. macaroni, cooked

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, brown beef, remove meat and set aside. In the same skillet saute onion in butter until onion is translucent; drain fat.

In a large bowl combine beef, onions, spaghetti sauce, macaroni, 1 cup cheese, mushrooms, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Spoon into an 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Bake, covered, 20 minutes or until bubbly. Evenly sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese; bake 5 more minutes or until cheese melts. Serves 4-6.
