36 sm. marshmallows
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. green food coloring
4 c. corn flakes
15 candied cherries
Red ribbon bow

Combine marshmallows and butter in the top part of a double boiler set over boiling water and stir until melted (this step can be done in the microwave.) Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and food coloring.

Pour corn flakes into a buttered 2 quart bowl. Add syrup and stir with a buttered spoon until corn flakes are well coated.

Drop mixture by heaping spoonfuls onto buttered foil, shaping a ring 8 inches in diameter. Arrange 5 clusters of 3 cherries each on top of the ring. Add red ribbon bow and let stand until set. Remove from foil and place on serving platter with a fat red candle in the center.
