RASPBERRY/STRAWBERRY BUNS 
1 c. plain flour
2 level tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
3 oz. butter
1 egg
Milk to mix
Jams or preserves, raspberry or strawberry

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a baking tray.

Sieve together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in the sugar, rub in the butter and blend with the egg and a little milk to a scone like mixture. Divide the mixture up and roll with palms of the hands into small balls. Press a hole in the center of each. Fill with jam or preserve. Bake for about 20 minutes.
