CHOCOLATE LAYER DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 cube butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (9 oz.) tub Cool Whip
1 lg. box instant chocolate pudding
2 2/3 c. milk

Mix first 4 ingredients and pat into 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then let cool. Beat well the cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar, then add the Cool Whip. Spread on top of the baked layer. Mix pudding mix and milk. Spread. Top with more Cool Whip. You may sprinkle with chocolate chips.
