WINE BEEF STEW 
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. garlic
1 lg. onion
1/2 lb. mushrooms (optional)
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. butter
1 c. red wine
1 tbsp. parsley

Brown beef, onion, mushroom and garlic in butter. Mix salt, pepper, paprika and flour in small bowl, set aside. Mix thyme, wine and parsley with beef, onion, mushrooms and garlic; then add salt, pepper, paprika and flour. Cook 2 to 3 hours. Serve over rice.
