PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 baked 9 inch pie shell
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend peanut butter until confectioners sugar until mealy. Sprinkle mixture over baked pie shell. Then combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Stir in scalded milk. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly until thickened. Using a wire whisk, stir small amount of cooked filling into egg yolks, then combine it with remaining hot mixture and cook several minutes longer. Add butter and vanilla. Top with meringue.
