THE POT SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1 (7 oz.) pkg. uncooked long spaghetti
Grated Parmesan cheese

Crumble ground beef in a 4 quart saucepan. Cook and stir over medium high heat for 10 minutes until brown. Drain off fat. Stir into ground beef the chopped onion, tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce. Add to mixture the sugar, salt, water and spaghetti.

Heat to boiling, stirring few times to prevent sticking. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for 15 to 20 minutes until spaghetti is tender. Remove from heat and stir.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top right before serving.
