DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BANANA LOAF 
2 c. flour
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 med. to lg. extra ripe bananas
1/2 c. melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped almonds or walnuts

Grease and flour 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, sugars, baking powder, soda and salt. Puree bananas to measure 1 1/2 cups. Stir bananas, melted butter, eggs and vanilla into dry ingredients. Mix just until blended. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts.

Turn batter into pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 60-65 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool on rack.
