1 pkg. Jiffy chocolate cake mix
2 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. chocolate pudding mix (reg.)
2 1/2 c. boiling water

Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Pour into ungreased 9 inch pan. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle dry pudding mix evenly over top. Pour the 2 1/2 cups boiling water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
